As you may notice from the various pictures, yours truly is employed within the Oil/Gas field. As such, various travels have been made to all sorts of countries. Pity that digital camera’s were introduced long after I started working. But, having said that: If dig-cams were available earlier, this site might have been enormous.

This site just shows some of the pictures taken. Unfortunately, not all of the pictures can be shown here. Not only because of website limitations, but also to avoid misunderstandings.

As one can see, some of the drilling rigs and accommodations are not as what we are used to in Europe. This is mainly due to a lack of funding, not due to a lack of commitment. I have found that the people I have worked with are proud of what they do and of what they have accomplished. Sometimes with little means.
