Sultanate of Oman, 1981 - 1983

A picture taken during my stay in Oman. Taken a long, long time ago, when I was still young and innocent. When my beard was not as “blond” as it is now.

This picture brings back good memories of the time I was privileged to supervise the Production Laboratory in Fahud . A lab, somewhere in the Omani desert. We (Salim, Hamdan, Mohammed Said, my Pakistani assistant whose name I forgot, Mike Booth, Les Corie and myself) were able to change a old dusty store in the Production Workshop into an efficient, fully equipped lab.
